Our big Oscar Night America event at the Michigan Theater is Sunday, February 25th. We will have a REAL Oscar there for a photo opportunity with guests.
I just wanted to show off the Oscar. It is pretty cool and very heavy!

How was the Oscar night? Hope it was all you wanted it to be!
Oscar Night was exhausting. It took me a week to recover. We raised $10,000 on the auction. I've never organized a silent auction before so it was a big learning experience for me. Most folks said making $10,000 on your first auction is pretty good.
We were working with another organization on this event and I didn't find them especially helpful. They had lots of ideas and very little time to help implement these ideas. I'm glad it is over and it was exciting to hold a real Oscar in my hands.
By the way, I checked out your blog and it is amazing. You are so talented.
