Florida was GREAT!
Florida was wonderful! I visited Clearwater Beach (not my favorite place, it was run down), Tampa, Naples and Orlando.
I loved Disney much more than expected. I thought a grown-up wouldn't have fun but I really did. They made me feel very special for my birthday.
There are more things to write but I'm busy getting ready for the Oscar party at work.

I'm glad you enjoyed Florida! I've only been once, several years ago, and the humidity and heat were staggering. You did Disney? I love Disneyland, in spite of the crush of people.
Kathleen, you must have been in Flordia during the summer months. In winter it is lovely there and sometimes a bit cool.
I did go to Disney World in January and it was great. There were so many wonderful experiences like "hang gliding" on the ride Soarin. The 3-D shows were exciting and at Epcot you feel like you've gone around the world. (I think that is called Showcase of the World.) Oh ... the fireworks at the end of the day are great too. It is a magical place.
