The holidays are GREAT!

This holiday season has been great. I've enjoyed wonderful food and seen friends that I've not seen in a while. I've also spent a lot of time with Dave and that has been great. I even went to his mom's house for dessert on Christmas Day. It was nice to see his mom and sister and the house where he grew up.

His mom is so generous. She made sure we went away with ham and a big box of Christmas cookies. She is very sweet. She also arranged to have Santa drop off a little gift for me this year too. (Chocolates) This was my ONLY gift from Santa.

Dave mentioned a couple of times that he was SO glad I came over to his mom's house that day. I must say I feel pretty special. However, Dave is pretty special to me too.

He got me a digital camera for Christmas with an extra memory card so I could take lots of pictures. I love it! I've included my favorite picture of us in front of Dave's Christmas tree.

I met Ben Taylor today!

Ben Taylor was at Border's downtown Ann Arbor and I had the chance to meet him today. He performed at the store and then signed CD's afterwards. I was the first one in line to get my CD signed. He was very nice. I heard him sing before at the Michigan Theater with his mom, Carly Simon.

His music is great and very relaxing to listen to. He is the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon. If you've never heard his music you should give it a try. I think you will really like it.
